1950's Holdsworth, Reynolds 531 steel.

Some beautiful fancy lugs on this 1950's Holdsworth.    

The frame has been stripped of all pump clips and cable guides to give the sleekest of lines, refurbished and chromed by one of the most skilled platers in the country. Dipped with two fine layers of copper, one of nickel and finally one of chrome.

Holdsworth was founded in 1933 by W.F. "Sandy" Holdsworth in Kent. A succesfull company that made frames of quality and eventually moved to London. Their repuataion and acumen allowed them to buy Claud Butler and Freddie Grubb in the 50's and Maclaens in the early 60's.

Frame number is 1850 and the matching forks give you the basis for a build of beauty and style.  

Size is seat post 22 1/2 inches, top tube 22 1/2 inches.
